Happy Birthday to my sweet Rosie! I know every parent is surprised when their baby turns one year older but I am struggling over here. My youngest baby is TWO and I can’t believe it. They say the youngest child grows fast and it is true. I see the toddler version of Rosie every day and I forgot how tiny she once was. Luckily I decided to have newborn photos done.
When I found out I was pregnant with Rosie the first thing on my to do list was to hire a professional photographer. I knew that she could possibly be my last baby and I wanted to capture everything. As I scroll through this session I am in tears because there are also memories with my family that I can never get back. My husband is officially bald (don’t tell him I told you) and Jax has officially lost his baby face. As for Ella, I have a 6-year-old with a sixteenish attitude. It is heartwarming to see her little again.
When I look back at Rosie’s newborn photos I feel all the feels. I can smell the new baby smell and still feel the wrinkles on her tiny toes. Children grow fast and you can’t turn back the time but you will always have a photograph. When it comes to capturing my family I am willing to make the investment to hire a professional.
Rosies newborn photos were captured by my family photographer Morgan, and you can check out her beautiful gallery and website here. Morgan has been a family favorite for years. I love her photography style and her heart. I am a firm believer in energy and this woman will make you feel amazing. Trust me, our first session together was a boudoir maternity shoot and she made me comfortable and that session is one of my favorites. I included a link to her beautiful website, where you can get her contact information along with photos of her home studio. Please take the time to check her out and give her a follow on Instagram. Thank you, Morgan, for being a great friend and always capturing priceless moments of my family.
I am so happy I was able to share some of my favorite newborn photos of Rosie and I hope that I encourage you to invest in a professional photo session for your family. How old is your babe turning this year? Also, don’t forget to wish Rosie Happy Birthday in the comments.
Real Life, Always.
XO
