Have you ever pretended to be happy and succeed? How about pretending for several years and being successful? I had my smile, body language, and tone of voice rehearsed. I hated everyone and always wanted to be alone. Lately, I feel myself slipping back into that same place. When my anxiety is triggered it leads me to depression. Understanding what triggers my anxiety has helped me stay on a consistent path of happiness. Some of my triggers are doubting my ability to be a good mother and wife. I have found that keeping myself busy clears my mind of negative energy. I enjoy reorganizing the pantry and finding creative play dates for my crew helps me maintain a healthy mindset. Bellow is a list of things that help me control my depression and anxiety.

1. Photography: I enjoy documenting as much as I can. Kids grow so fast.
2. Working on a puzzle: this helps me when I can’t stop questioning myself.
3. Nap: When I’m tired my anxiety is at its worst. I forget about my to-do list and put my health first. So, ladies, LAUNDRY CAN WAIT.
4. Art: I love art projects with my crew. Anything that I can have as a keepsake will work.
